The Freelancer journalist went missing on 16th July 1996. The estranged spouse of a journalist who lived be net to the flat did not watch her leave. The police lodged the case and began to search her but they were not able to find her. Not only even after checking her home, nothing suspicious had been found which can indicate that something had happened wrong with her or any crime had happened. Though the several weeks directing up to her missing many have had some clues about this unfortunate development. At the time of investigation, several theories had been constructed related to the case, but it still remains not solved case even after the search of many years.

Her friend of Susan, Melissa Hines asserted that she watched Susan with an anonymous man about 1 month after she went missing. She even wrote the number on the number plate of the vehicle.
